  • Our prices depend on the space your items take up in our truck unless your items are significantly heavy or require disassembly. We will always give a no-obligation estimate before we do any work. Dügood can give you an estimate either in-person, or an over-the-phone estimate. You can text us pictures of your items that need to be picked up.

After receiving an on-site estimate, you can have us start the pickup immediately or schedule your pickup later.

Our price ranges between $125 (our minimum) to $1350 for a full truckload. Most people are within $250 (couch size) to $450 (roughly 2 couches of space) for junk and donations.

  • Where we take your unwanted items depends on three factors:

    1. Is your item junk or a donation

    2. What is the type and condition of your donation

    3. Identifying the organizations currently asking for or accepting your specific type of donation

Dügood is well-versed in discerning the “donatability” of your items. Many items people typically throw away can be recycled or repurposed with several of our recycling partners. Knowing the types of items we pick up beforehand and their overall condition helps us “pre-sort” your donations before we even get to them. Knowing what you have will allow us to communicate and coordinate with our community partners to see what they will accept of your listed items. This enables us to donate and recycle much more than other companies in the Seattle area.

We bring your junk and donations to several nonprofit and commercial recycling centers. It first depends on the items we’ve picked up. Based on the condition of the donations they can be taken to a few of our donation partners, which include: Mary’s Place, Salvation Army, to name a few.

For non-donatable items such as broken furniture, we work with several residential and commercial recycling centers that can repurpose any raw materials from the junk past its useful life.

Dügood TIP: if you’re junk, donations, and recyclable items aren’t separated/organized, it’s not the end of the world. Pre-organizing your items before we pick them up dramatically helps us optimize for finding each item the best home.

  • Hazardous waste includes household chemicals, batteries, and fluorescent light bulbs. The King County hazardous waste website provides information about properly disposing of hazardous waste materials in the Seattle area, including locations of hazardous waste collection sites and guidelines for safe disposal.

  • We work with incredible local and global organizations to find your recyclable and reusable items the best home. A few of our partners include Mary’s Place, Salvation Army, Zero Waste Washington, Second Use Building Materials, Looptworks Textile Recycling, Armorie Clothing-Rental, United Recycling, King County Recycling & transfer station, and the City of Seattle Recycling & Transfer Station.

Dügood TIP: Know of an organization or non-profit you think we should partner with? We’d love to hear about it! After all, we can’t spell dügood with ü. Please send us an email at info@dügood.co
